E383-16 welding electrode for 904L and Alloy 825. Soft arc, low spatter, all-position welding of super austenitic stainless and nickel alloys with strong corrosion resistance.

Key Features

It features soft and easy striking arc, minimal spatter and smooth slag removal with uniform weld bead ripples; suitable for all-position welding (flat / horizontal / vertical / overhead), and works well for both thin and thick plates. No carbide precipitation occurs, eliminating intergranular corrosion under long-term corrosive service, delivering far longer service life than conventional 316L and 317L electrodes.

It is classified under AWS A5.4 E320-16 and GB/T 983 E320-16, and is commonly supplied as A902 E320-16. With a Cr-Ni-Mo-Cu-Nb weld metal, E320-16 is mainly used for Carpenter 20Cb, Alloy 20, and similar corrosion-resistant alloys, particularly in chemical processing and sulfuric acid service.
