ERNiCrCoMo-1 (Alloy 617) nickel-based filler metal designed for high-temperature service. For welding Inconel 617 and various heat-resistant alloys, featuring excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation & corrosion resistance.
Shielding Gas
TIG/MIG: High-purity argon ≥99.99%; Ar+He mixture optional for thicker plate
Back purge is mandatory for root pass of pipes & vessels
Gas flow rate: 12–20 L/min (front); 8–12 L/min (back purge)
Polarity
TIG (GTAW): DC straight polarity (DC-)
MIG (GMAW): DC reverse polarity (DC+)
Core Properties
· Ni-Cr-Co-Mo alloy with excellent high-temperature creep strength and thermal fatigue resistance
· Outstanding oxidation, carburization and sulfidation resistance up to 1150℃
· Resists high-temperature corrosion by chloride and fluoride media
· Low hot cracking tendency, suitable for similar and dissimilar high-temperature alloys
⚠️ Thorough cleaning before welding; avoid sulfur & lead contamination. Control heat input for thick sections.
