-Suitable for carbon-molybdenum heat-resistant steels, continuous service temperature up to 500°C
• PWHT stress relief recommended for pressure parts to maximize high-temperature properties

Welding Parameters
Polarity: DC+ (DCRP, Direct Current Reverse Polarity)
Shielding Gas
MIG/MAG: Ar + 5%~15% CO₂, Flow rate: 15–20 L/min
TIG: Pure Argon (99.99%)
Preheat & Interpass Temperature
100~150 ℃ for plate thickness ≥12 mm or low ambient temperature
Typical parameters (Φ1.2 mm MAG): Current 180~240 A; Voltage 24~28 V
Deposited Metal Mechanical Properties
Tensile Strength: ≥485 MPa (70 ksi)
Yield Strength: ≥400 MPa
Elongation: ≥19 %

Applications
Power boiler headers, superheaters, steam pipelines; petrochemical heat exchangers, high-temperature & high-pressure pressure vessels, medium-temperature pipelines for refineries and other C-Mo steel pressure-bearing equipment.
Welding Precautions:
• Not interchangeable with ER70S-6.
• Remove oil, rust and scale on groove to prevent porosity.
• Weld long-term service temperature ≤520°C.
• Follow specifications for PWHT on pressure vessels.
