ER110S-G
ER110S-G is a copper-coated ultra-high strength low alloy solid wire for GMAW (MIG/MAG) and GTAW (TIG). It is designed for welding 110ksi grade high-strength low-alloy structural steels, providing superior mechanical strength, excellent crack resistance and stable joint performance for ultra-heavy load structural applications.

Features

• Precision low-alloy formula provides ultra-high tensile and yield strength, fully meeting the welding standard requirements of 110ksi high-strength steel structures.
• Excellent resistance to hydrogen-induced cold cracking and structural brittleness, adaptable to high-stress and high-rigidity welding components.
• Stable arc combustion, low spatter output and smooth uniform weld bead, bringing easy operation and high-efficiency welding construction.
• Strictly controlled chemical composition and stable welding process tolerance, ensuring consistent and reliable mechanical properties of welded joints.

Diameter & Packaging

MIG:0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.6 mm 5KG Spool / 15KG Spool
TIG:2.0 / 2.4 / 3.2 mm 5kg plastic tube

Welding Parameters

Polarity: DC+ (DCRP)

Shielding Gas

MIG/MAG: Ar + 5%~15% CO₂, Flow rate: 15–20 L/min
TIG: Pure Argon (99.99%)
Preheat & Interpass Temperature
150~200 ℃ for thick plates or high-restraint joints to prevent hydrogen-induced cold cracking and brittleness.
Typical Φ1.2 mm MAG parameters: Current 130~190 A; Voltage 20~24 V
Deposited Metal Mechanical Properties
Tensile Strength: ≥760 MPa (110 ksi)
Yield Strength: ≥660 MPa
Elongation: ≥13 %
Charpy V-notch: ≥27 J (Room temperature)

Applications

Suitable for welding 110ksi grade ultra-high strength low-alloy structural steels. Widely used in large crane equipment, heavy-duty engineering machinery, high-load steel structure engineering, marine engineering components and ultra-high strength pressure structural parts.
Welding Precautions
• General-purpose 110ksi ultra-high strength welding wire; not applicable for heat-resistant steel, cryogenic steel or stainless steel welding.
• Remove all oil, rust, scale and moisture from the groove and surrounding base metal to avoid porosity and slag inclusion defects.
• Adhere to strict preheat and interpass temperature control during welding to reduce residual stress and prevent cold cracking.
• Professional post-weld heat treatment is required for thick-wall and ultra-heavy load components to optimize weld mechanical performance.
• Prohibited for long-term high-temperature, ultra-low temperature and strong corrosive service working environments.
